Typewriter Poetry Project

On a recent trip to Denver, I encountered poetry written by a Denver-based typewriter poet named Michael William Prince (@thepoetrycrow) and bought two that resonated with me. Then, when faced with the annual art show back in Massachusetts without any new art, I decided to dust off my old 1920’s Corona, and with the help of Tom Furrier of Cambridge Typewriter, I was in business. Between Friday and Monday, I had written 40 poems.

I’m now working on publishing my first volume of poems, written about other people at their request. I have done mostly short poems, but have been commissioned to write longer works for special occasions. Contact me if you are interested in having a poem written for you or someone you love.
