Storytelling Masterclass

Date: Sunday, September 22nd, Time: 1 pm to 4 pm

This three-hour storytelling masterclass includes how to tell a story, where to get story ideas, and what to consider when telling a story. This event has some participant interaction including Q and A, as well as a handout of all that is covered in the class.

The Art of Storytelling

Date: Wednesdays; 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23 with a performance on 10/30

Time: 7 pm to 8:30 pm

Do you have a story to tell? In this five-week class, learn how to craft a compelling story that engages an audience and has them on the edge of their seat. We will cover idea generation, developing a story structure, building characters, conflict, humor, and resolution. By week five, you will be standing on the stage, sharing your story with a live audience.  Space is limited to 8 people

Spring Fever: Stories For a New Season

Join Arts Wayland for a night of stories and music featuring some of New England’s best tellers from the Moth stage. These storytellers have been bringing audiences to hysterics and tears for years.

Considering Forgiveness Workshop
Wednesday, February 21 for 5 weeks, 7- 8:30 pm

All are welcome.

Considering Forgiveness is a free 5-session program based on The Book of Forgiving: The Fourfold Path for Healing Ourselves and Our World, by Desmond Tutu and Mpho Tutu.

  • The workshop will follow the chapters in the book and will include stories, meditations, exercises, and reflections. 
  • Participants should bring a journal and a stone that fits into the palm of their hand to the first session. 
  • We also recommend you acquire a copy of the book. It is available in hardcover, paperback, Kindle, and audio versions
